After getting some great advice from Shannon @ Coffee & Crema in Greenville, SC I was able to reduce the dose and tighten the grind for some good results. The wife came back three times for more and I have just left the big 220v unit “on” for a while ’cause I know I will “be right back” to it shortly.
The crema was rather thick, which usually isn’t the case in a SO Espresso. Instead of quick blonding, which I had problems with yesterday, I was counting 30 seconds until any serious blonding. Over all, I was impressed with the taste, but in this case I agree with Mark @ Coffee Geek, it just isn’t complex enough. But, I have had some fantastic SO in my short time.
